About Us

Evening with the Arts is a chance for the Brown Elementary School to highlight our Art Masterpiece Program and for our students to show their family & friends the artwork they created through the program throughout the year, as well as a chance to raise funds for the Art Program. 

Our Art Masterpiece Program is funded entirely by the purchase of auction items, ticket sales, and donations received during Evening with the Arts. Our Art Masterpiece Program is unlike any other in the Washoe County School District and provides each one of our students the unique opportunity to utilize a variety of mixed medias to create their own artwork as well as create their own ceramic pieces utilizing clay, and then finalize those pieces with either a glaze or batik. 

The Class Art projects that are part of the silent auction are classroom cooperative pieces that are uniquely made by each classroom with participation from each and every student in the classroom.
